Let Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Do the Cooking on Thanksgiving Day

Schenectady, NY (November 12, 2018) – Rivers Casino & Resort is offering two spectacular Thanksgiving Day dining options on November 22nd. Guests can choose from a farm-to-table-style Thanksgiving buffet in the River’s Event Center or an elegant four-course dining experience at Dukes Chophouse adjacent to the gaming floor.

Thanksgiving Buffet at the Event Center – River’s guests will enjoy a farm-to-table-style Thanksgiving buffet from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The buffet will feature fall-inspired soups, salads and vegetables; traditional side dishes like whipped potatoes and cornbread stuffing; hand-carved roasted turkey and honey ham; chicken and pasta dishes; and delicious desserts, including traditional holiday pies and various Villa Italia pastries.

Tickets for adults are $25 plus tax and gratuity, children ages 6-12 are $15 plus tax and gratuity, and children 5 and under are free. Reservations for the buffet can be made at (518) 579-8811.

Thanksgiving Dinner at Dukes Chophouse – A delicious four-course Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The prix fixe menu will include a butternut pear bisque soup; a beet and goat cheese terrine salad; a choice of traditional roasted turkey or prosciutto-wrapped turkey roulade with Andouille cornbread stuffing, classic stuffing “croquette”, potato puree, sweet potato pomme frites, thyme velouté; and a pumpkin cheesecake for dessert.

In addition to the fantastic Thanksgiving Day offerings at the Event Center and Dukes Chophouse, all of Rivers Casino’s restaurants – Mian, Flipt and Johnny’s To Go – will be open during regular business hours. Johnny’s is also featuring the Gobbler Sandwich, a hand-carved turkey sandwich with stuffing and cranberry mayonnaise.
