John Waite

John began his career as the lead singer of the Babys, who rocketed to the Top 20 chart positions with their hits, “Isn’t it Time.” and “Every Time I Think of You.” John moved onto a solo career and reached international success with his hit “Missing You” which hit #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles, Album Rock Tracks and Adult Contemporary charts. Followed up by “Tears” that was a top 10 hit on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts.

He reunited with former Babys band mates in 1988 to create Bad English, that would go on to have number 1 hit “When I See You Smile” that was certified Gold. To this day John Waite continues to forge his own musical path by storytelling through blues, soul and country along with a deep connection to the Celtic folk music of his homeland.
