Schenectady, NY (June 28, 2019) – Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady guests will have a chance to win thousands in cash, Free Slot Play, and various prizes, including a 2019 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, during the $330K Build-A-Casino promotion.

Throughout the month, Rush Rewards members can exchange points earned between June 24 and July 31 for three different levels of peel-and-win tickets. Peel-and-wins may reveal Rivers-branded items, Free Slot Play, food credits, Landing Hotel suite stays, drawing entries or casino-themed game pieces.

Guests who collect casino-themed game pieces and complete each slot bank or table game on the $330K Build-A-Casino game board will win corresponding prizes. Grand prizes include $5,000 Free Slot Play at the 100-point level, a 2019 Harley-Davidson Softail Slim FLSL motorcycle at the 200-point level, and $25,000 (paid out as $15,000 cash and $10,000 Free Slot Play) at the 300-point level.

4th of July Celebration – Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady is thrilled to present an Independence Day celebration to remember. The festivities will kick-off Thursday, July 4 at 7 p.m. at the Mohawk Harbor Amphitheater with a free concert by the most revered Bruce Springsteen tribute band in the world, Tramps Like Us, followed by a firework spectacular queued to classic celebration songs at 9 p.m. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase from the Rivers To Go, Flavors of Lebanon and Wagon Train BBQ food trucks. The concert and fireworks are free and open to the public.

Country Weekend – Friday, July 5 and Saturday, July 6, country fans at Van Slyck’s lounge will be treated to a pair of fun-filled nights with live bands and a DJ. Local favorites, The Beadle Brothers, will take the stage on Friday, and Martin & Kelly will hit the stage on Saturday. Bands will start at 8 p.m. and finish at midnight, and CMA Winner and local radio personality, Kevin Richards will be entertaining country music lovers from 9 p.m until 2 a.m. on both nights. $2 Pabst Blue Ribbon specials will also be available. ABBAMANIA – On Friday, July 5, Rush Rewards members will experience a rock musical at the Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Event Center that will take them back to the disco-era of one of the best pop bands in history – ABBA. ABBAMANIA features nine incredible musicians performing more than 20 of ABBA’s hits with the costume changes, choreography, and big studio sound the original band made famous. Ambrosia (Harbor Jam) – 5-time Grammy nominated band, Ambrosia, will kick-off the 2019 summer concert series, Harbor Jam, with their unique brand of smooth rock music at the Mohawk Harbor Amphitheater on Saturday, July 6. Fans will hear Ambrosia classics “How Much I Feel,” “Biggest Part of Me,” “You’re the Only Woman (You & I)” and more when the band takes the stage at 6 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public. Luau Dinner Show – Guests will be enthralled by the sights, sounds and tastes of island culture during the Luau Dinner Show, featuring an authentic Polynesian dance group, at the Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Event Center on Tuesday, July 9. With Polynesian drums and the allure of seductive Tahitian dancers, guests will be treated to Samoan, Fijian, Tongan, New Zealand and Hula dance styles, along with great Hawaiian and Polynesian music, all while enjoying a delicious island-themed 3-course meal. Comedy Night with Shuli Egar – Howard Stern Show regular, Shuli Egar, will headline a night of comedy at the Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Event Center on Friday, July 19. John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band (Harbor Jam) – The summer concert series continues Saturday, July 20 with triple-platinum roots rock ‘n’ roll band, John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band. Best known for the smash album, “Eddie & The Cruisers – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack”, fans can expect to hear the band’s classics “On The Dark Side,” “Wild Summer Nights,” and “Tender Years”. Electric City Championship, Madden NFL Summer Series – The best Madden NFL 19 video game players in the country will be squaring-off on the virtual gridiron at Van Slyck’s on Saturday, July 20. Schenectady-native, Katie Manning, has sold out over 10 shows at Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady since 2018. Beats & Balance: Silent Yoga – On July 25, and the last Thursday of every month through September, Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady will be hosting silent yoga in the Mohawk Harbor Amphitheater. The one-hour yoga class, from 6:30 p.m until 7:30 p.m. is free and open to the public. Music will be brought to guests by DJ Trumastr, and the class will be instructed by Yoga Bliss on The Boulevard studio. Participants will receive headphones that block out all other noises so they can listen to music and the instructor. Guests should bring their own yoga mats.

CSN Songs (Harbor Jam) – Fans of the legendary Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young will be singing along to all the band’s classic folk-rock hits when CSN Songs hits the stage at the Mohawk Harbor Amphitheater on Saturday, July 27. CSN Songs reproduce live the band’s catalog as closely as possible to how the songs were originally written, recorded and performed throughout Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young’s musical legacy.
