SCHENECTADY, NY (October 29, 2018) – The “Gold Rush” is on this November at Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady, where Rush Rewards members will have a chance to win bars of gold, Free Slot Play and various instant win prizes during the Gold Rush promotion.

Guests will seek to strike gold by earning rewards points all month long, which can then be redeemed for peel-and-win tickets. Rush Rewards members can exchange every 50 points earned through the month of November for 1 ticket. The tickets will then reveal 1 of 3 kinds of prizes: instant wins, drawing entries and letters. Prizes include food credits, Free Slot Play and real gold!

Peel-and-win tickets that reveal drawing entries will allow guests to enter the 8:30 p.m. daily drawings for a chance to punch a spot on the punch board and win a gold coin prize of up to 1 ounce. One guest will be drawn every day from November 1 to November 30.

Peel-and-win tickets could also reveal letters that can be collected to spell out “GRAND PRIZE GOLD.” If all 14 letters are collected, the winner will receive the grand prize 10-ounce gold bar.

Thanksgiving Buffet – On Thursday, November 22, guests can enjoy a farm-to-table style Thanksgiving buffet in the Event Center from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The buffet will feature fall-inspired soups, salads and vegetables; traditional side dishes like whipped potatoes and corn bread stuffing; hand-carved roasted turkey and honey ham; chicken and pasta dishes; and a delicious dessert display including traditional holiday pies and various Villa Italia pastries. Thanksgiving Dinner – A four-course Thanksgiving Dinner will be served at Dukes Chophouse on Thursday, November 22 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The pre-fixe menu will include a butternut pear bisque soup; a beet and goat cheese terrine salad; a choice of traditional roasted turkey or prosciutto-wrapped turkey roulade with Andouille cornbread stuffing, classic stuffing “croquette”, potato puree, sweet potato pomme frites, thyme velouté; and a pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. The Spirit of Johnny Cash Dinner Show – On Wednesday, November 14, a Johnny Cash impersonator will delight the audience and impeccably recreate the sights and sounds of Johnny Cash in the Event Center. A three-course dinner will be served during the show and includes: a Caesar salad and ciabatta rolls with butter to start, followed by a choice of eggplant parmesan with oven roasted potatoes or chicken picatta with oven roasted potatoes and a vegetable medley, finished with an Italian strawberry cake for dessert. Coffee, tea and soft drinks will also be served. Guests can bring non-perishable food items to be donated to the Joseph’s House & Shelter in Troy.
